Events and Competitions

ETL members take part in many competitions throughout the year. These range from local (within the SEFTA region, some of which are hosted by ETL) to national (either organised by the BFTA or individual club open competitions) and even the World Championships. This section gives details of some of the competitions that our members are taking part in. It is also worth checking out the Diary section for a calendar of events for the year.

Please note: ETL does not allow camouflage clothing to be worn on the premises. We hope all competitors will respect our club rules in this regard, as we dont wish to cause offence by turning people away. Apologies for any inconvienience.

Upcoming and Ongoing Events

Mini Mayhem - Sunday 28th June 2009

ETL will be hosting the aptly titled Mini-Mayhem competition on the last Sunday in June this year. The format will be 40 targets, 39 Mini-kills and 1 full size golden bunny. Mini-kills will range all the way out to 55 yards and will include standing and kneeling shots. Two targets to a lane and timed. It will be a difficult course, are you tough enough to have a go? This is an open event and all are welcome. Shooting commences around 10AM.

Essex 50 - Sunday 4th October 2009

ETL Field Target Club would like to invite all willing participants to this years Essex 50. Following the same format as previous years, 50 targets, standard BFTA rules, open field target competition. Trophies given to first, second and third place of each grade, golden bunny is optional.
